We offer opportunities for Counselors to grow and development their clinical skills. Each training is designed with the therapist in mind so that you leave with increased knowledge and can confidently utilize it in the your daily practice.
Legalities
Refund, Transfer, Cancellation, Postponement, and/or Marketing

Refunds:
​​​If a refund is requested by the participant, then a refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, will be provided assuming the request is received at least two weeks in advance of the event. All cancellations must be in writing and should be emailed to thewelllife@dorothymcdermott.com. No refunds will be issued if the request is received less than two weeks prior to the training event. If a participant fails to attend the seminar, no refunds or transfers will be issued.​

Cancellations:
If The Well Life cancels a seminar, a full refund will be provided. The Well Life reserves the right to cancel any seminar due to low enrollment, weather or other special circumstance.

Transfers:
If a participant is unable to come to a training they are registered for, they may transfer the registration fee to a future training. The request to transfer the registration must be a minimum of two weeks before the scheduled event and submitted in writing. The credit must be used within 12 months of the original training date. If there is a balance due (i.e. the original training fee is less than the one being transferred to), the participant will receive an invoice to pay the balance a minimum of two weeks prior to the new training date.

Postponements:
At times, postponing a seminar may be unavoidable. If a seminar is postponed, all registered will have the option to attend the seminar on the newly scheduled date, receive a full refund, or have their registration transferred to another seminar of their choice within the next 12 months.
*By registering, regardless of payment method, means that you agree to and will adhere to the refund, transfer, cancellation and postponement policy.
*By egistering for this event you are giving The Well Life/A Fresh Start Counseling permission to use video and photography for advertisement on all marketing material, including social media.
